Hurricane Safety Kit

It's Hurricane season and we always have to be prepared living in Florida. A tropical storm can turn into a category 4 hurricane overnight or fizzle into just some heavy rain. You never really know the exact outcome and strength of the storm until it hits your particular city/zip-code/neighborhood. The hit can be that precise so better safe that sorry.

Paris: The City of Love

Paris is often called the City of Love and Romance but is this really true? I guess the answer is subjective. From my experience as a tourist, it is filled with romantic places to visit with your partner so you do get that feeling of enchantment.

London Ladies Trip

A big part of my decision to finally make it across the pond was because my BFF and God Daughter recently moved to England so I wanted to fit in some girl time on the trip.

Summer Travel Gear + Giveaway!

I always love reading about other's Amazon purchases and sharing my own especially when I find cool new products or great deals worth sharing. Many of these purchases were in preparation for our Europe travels but all still handy for everyday use.

Life Lately: Italy Edition

Of all the places we visited while in Europe, Italy was by far my favorite. I still have so many photos and details of the trip to share but it's been a whirlwind trying to get back into real life. The past few weekends have been unproductive and lazy to say the very least so just a few things we did while exploring Italy.

7 Things I Loved About Europe

It's hard to pick just 7 things about such a huge place with so many different, new, and glorious things. These are just a few that come to mind to kick off some Friday Faves.

Let Your Smile Shine + Giveaway

Being a routine-oriented person, I have a regimen when it comes to skincare, dental hygiene and my overall health. I've talked about skincare several times here on Martinis & Bikinis along with the "forever" products I use but never really got into teeth talk.

Notre-Dame Paris - After The Fire

I kid you not, I purchased tickets for a historical walking tour of Paris the day before The Notre-Dame Cathedral caught on fire.

It's Been a While

Hi Friends, remember me?

I took a longer break than planned. While I knew I needed to focus on closing out some huge projects at work before our Europe trip, I didn't expect to be MIA for over 3 weeks. That said, I've missed you all!

Life Lately + Friday Faves

Happy Friday!

Life has been crazy busy lately, mainly in the work department so I apologize for being MIA. I've been working til 2 am most nights and then waking up at 6 am to head to the office. Thankfully, yesterday I got to work from home saving me the two-hour round-trip commute and giving me a mental break to focus on getting shit done.

Reggae Rainout

One of my favorite bands played this weekend at Cocoa Riverfront Park, a nice outdoor venue close to home. The lineup of bands were great (Matisyahu and Tribal Seeds) leading up to my favorite, Slightly Stoopid.

Europe Travel Planning

I started planning our Europe trip in November last year after we scored super cheap tickets flying into London. The 6+ months of planning has paid off with all planes, trains, hotels, tours, etc booked and confirmed.

Hello June: Life Lately

May came and went pretty quickly (like the rest of the year it seems) so I wanted to share some happenings from May and a few tidbits from the weekend.

The Weekend When I lost 24 Hours of My Life

The 3-day weekend was a nice break, albeit I was in bed sick for a good portion of it. We had our friend from Boston visiting Thursday through Saturday so the guys golfed while I was at work on Friday and then we had a fun pool day on Saturday.

Happy Memorial Day America

I'm enjoying the 3-day weekend we get in the US for Memorial Day today but wanted to check in with a tribute in the form of a quote.

New Summer Workout Gear

I certainly didn't start 2019 right health-wise although I'm not one for New Year's resolutions. I do set personal and professional goals for every quarter of the year (the business side of me, if you will).

Sunny Weekend & Wedding Vibes

The last few weekends have been very low key so it was nice to head over to Florida's west coast for a beautiful wedding, fun with friends, and lots of sunshine.

Park Pizza & Brewing Company

I haven't done a restaurant review in a while but a trendy new spot recently opened up close to home and I love the concept. I know there's nothing new about a brewery or a pizza restaurant but Park Pizza & Brewing Company's menu is eclectic with a delicious variety of rotating beers brewed in-house.

Happy Mother's Day
