A big part of my decision to finally make it across the pond was because my BFF and God Daughter recently moved to England so I wanted to fit in some girl time on the trip.
After exploring Paris with K for a few days, I traveled back to London to meet up with Crys while K went to Amsterdam.
We had some fun plans lined up for our "Girls Trip".
The first night was a wash as I returned back from France later in the evening so Crys and I just hung out at my Aunt's house in London catching up over good wine.
The following day was action packed starting with Lunch at the Shard with beautiful views of the City and London Bridge.
We then walked over to explore the Embankment area which is super cute and full of entertainment including the London Eye.
I bought Crys and I fast passes to the London Eye for her birthday gift, and what a great investment that was. With school being out, the regular line was filled with kids camp groups and, well, a ton of tourists like myself.
Then on foot to view the Big Ben which was under construction and Trafalgar Square before stopping at a pub because it was Florida hot!
Miss Scarlett joined us on our last night before we all flew to Italy for a beach vacay on the Amalfi Coast. More to come on that amazing adventure!
What a fun little trip. Girl time is good for the soul!!
ReplyDeleteSuch a fun trip. We did the London eye on our last trip but didn't make it there this trip. Lunch at the Shard is just spectacular. Cant beat that view. Glad you had the best time!
