Party Planning with Rose Gold

The Rose Gold color theme is so pretty for any event (I used it for my NYE party mixed in with some Navy Blue for the guys). It's perfect for celebrating the ladies in your life - birthdays, bridal showers, baby showers, graduation parties, engagement parties, etc.

February Favorites

It's always a celebration around here. I salute to birthdays, baby showers, bridal showers, and everything in between. I love party planning but planning new travel adventures is definitely a favorite.

Party Supplies from the Dollar Store

I love party planning, often on a tight budget. If there's one thing I love about the Dollar Store is that they have a great selection of party supplies for every occasion.

Friday Faves

Happy Friday everyone!

My work life has been crazy for the last two months coordinating a huge conference happening next week. Considering our corporate is in Australia, the time difference has sometimes consumed my nights to coordinate with the team over there, instead of blogging which I only find time to do at night or weekends.

TBB Asks - Party Edition

Joining The Blended blog ladies today (a little late) for their August Summer Edition of TBB Asks.

1. Favorite Birthday Party as a Child?
I have vague memories of all my parties as a kid but one of my favorites pictures is from my 2nd birthday when I had golden curls and, of course, since I'm a December baby, the cake had Christmas colors.

Baby Shower/Gender Reveal Party Planning

This weekend was a relaxing one. Much needed after our Boston travel adventures last weekend. Other than lots of relaxing, getting my car detailed, and being productive around the house, we attended a Gender Reveal party yesterday.

Brunch: My Favorite Weekend Meal

I'm sure that takes you by no surprise for those that follow along frequently! My weekends often involve Sunday brunch whether at home or at a nifty restaurant to gather with friends.

Brunch is the perfect way to celebrate a baby shower, bridal shower, birthday or even if you just need a reason to celebrate the weekend. I found some creative brunch party ideas on FTD's blog that I wanted to share.

From creative DIY floral ice cubes and ice buckets to floral tablescape decor, there are plenty of genius ways to host a memorable brunch party at home.

Their website gave me many cute ideas, I already want to gather up the girls and get the champagne poppin!

After helping to host Kate's Brunch & Baby Shower a few weeks ago, I'm already looking forward to having another brunch at home for future celebrations to come.

Easter Dinner Party Planning

Every year we host an Easter dinner for our friends since many of us don't have family that live close by. We always bake a ham and fry turkey but I'm always looking for new ideas for sides, desserts, and cocktails.

The Super Bowl Food Table

The big game is this weekend and it's always fun getting together with friends to eat, drink and root for your favorite teams. I made pizza dip last year and have been searching for some new ideas to make for a friend's Super Bowl get-together on Sunday.

Football Appetizers & Entertaining

It's certainly hard for calorie-counting around football season. Everyone knows pizza and beer are consumed in copious amounts during this time. I know we'll be attending a few football parties this season so I went on the hunt for some fun and festive appetizer, finger food and dessert recipes that I thought I would share.

St Patrick's Party Food Ideas + 2013 Recap

I've been looking around for festive appetizer and finger food ideas on Pinterest to make for a St Patrick's day party and stumbled across some cute ideas.

Shamrock Spinach Quiche via Diamonds for Dessert.

I love celebrating St. Patrick's day with friends. Last year we went to a friend's potluck-style
party so we ate all sorts of festive food and, of course, had way too many Irish car bombs. It was a fun night and the same friends are throwing another St Patty's party this weekend.

One of my friends recreated this Rainbow Fruit Tray with a Pot-O-Gold Rainbow and I thought it was such a cute idea for a St Patty's party.

Are you planning to make any festive appetizers, desserts or cocktails for St Patty's this year?
