Football, Fall Decorating & a Food Festival

Lots of relaxing on Friday night into Saturday morning then we were off to get some groceries and errands done before stopping off at Rock & Brews for a couple hours to have lunch and watch football.

Christmas Decorating

It's the most wonderful time of the year and I've finally finished decorating for the holidays. We have a small fake Christmas tree which we've been using for the past few years so it's not nice and fluffy like the real ones nor does it have that nice tree smell but it's easy to maintain and will do for now. I hope to upgrade later on down the road.

Tree ornaments from our travels

I started off with very little Christmas decorations and have been trying to buy a few new pieces every year and also get ornaments as souvenirs from our travels. I bought the Mickey & Minnie tree ornament on our recent trip to Disney and I purchased new stockings since we now have a new addition to the family.

How's your holiday decorating coming along?

Master Bedroom Design & Decorating

My latest project is to redecorate our master bedroom. The walls are stark white and we have the most basic furniture and bedding set. I want some "pop" in the room and the walls painted gray, which has been the plan since we bought our house 3 years ago. Gray is such a cozy and warm color for a bedroom.

I found a bedding set with the most beautiful colors & a peacock theme. I love emerald green, sapphire blue, and of course gray.

I'm definitely no interior decorator but I think a gray shag rug, silver mirror/wall decor and sparkly throw pillow will pull it all together to give me the sparkle I love without making it too girly for the husband.

Entertaining for the Holidays

I'm starting to feel festive so I found some cute Holiday-themed desserts, drinks and decorations. If you plan on throwing a party this year, these look like some great conversation starters. I'm also linking up with Helene for Tell Me About It Tuesday.

Happy hump day everyone! We're almost there :-)
Check out Jaime's blog and link up for What I'm Loving Wednesday. What's on your list?

Today, I'm loving my new bow earrings:
I'm loving that all of my indoor Chirstmas decorations are up and I've gotten a few gifts wrapped ;-)

I'm loving my weekly Wednesday Zumba class at our gym. So much fun!

I'm loving that store gifts and coupons are already arriving in the mail for my birthday. Got a $10 off from VS this week. Sweet deal!

I'm loving the Macy's Friends and Family sale is going on today offering an extra 25% off using code: FRIEND. Not that more shopping is necessary after Black Friday but I might pass this on to the hubby and mention that my birthday is in 2 weeks ~ Can you say Michael Kors? *wink*

I'm loving Channing Tatum. Yup, that's right. LOL

I'm adoring these beauty finds from Pinterest:

Enjoy the rest of your hump day!

Oh Christmas Tree!

Ok I know we haven't even celebrated Thanksgiving yet but my Christmas spirit came early this year and so up went our first Christmas tree yesterday!

I did a lot of shopping around online to find the best deal on a medium sized pre-lit Christmas tree and finally settled on one from Home Depot. We decided to buy an artificial tree so we can use it again in the future. I also got a 72-count box of Martha Stewart decorations and the tree skirt from Home Depot at a good price.

I don't own any Thanksgiving decorations but I am excited to celebrate with family and eat some delish turkey.

Hope everyone enjoyed their weekend!
