My year recaps only focus on the positives so I don't want anyone to think my life is perfect or sugar-coated. 2018 also came with job layoffs, car accidents, family sicknesses, terrible bosses, and everything in between. I shared most of these tidbits throughout the year but nothing I want to relive.
September
We celebrated K's birthday over Labor Day weekend in Austin, Texas. I shared our tourist adventures on the Double Decker bus tour and some other random sightings in Austin.
We attended a beautiful wedding and a Cowgirl-themed baby shower for friends. I capped off the month with a work trip to Nashville.
October
We celebrated the twin pumpkins 1st birthday.
I shared some cute ideas for Baby Girl Gifts and a Life Lately update.
November
November was another fun-filled month. My neighbors hosted an early Friendsgiving Party and my little Martinis & Bikinis Blog celebrated "her" 6th Anniversary. We also had brunch and bubbles for my dear friend, JQ'S birthday. Good times as always!
Kate and I attended an Orlando Blogger event at Cherry Blow Dry Bar which was definitely a highlight of the month along with our Thanksgiving weekend with family shortly after.
December
With a blink of an eye it was December and time to celebrate my Birthday in Charleston (which I haven't had a chance to post about yet).
We celebrated an early Christmas with my in-laws before flying to Vegas on Christmas day. Call us crazy!
I hosted a New Year's Eve party for friends. It was a blast but, with all the fun, then came extreme exhaustion and sickness.
No amount of rest this week has helped me feel better so cheers to the weekend and I hope everyone has a better start to 2019 that I'm having.

ReplyDeleteSounds like you had a lot of good to focus on for the year!! I’m that way, not wanting to focus on any of the negative stuff because it happens and you deal and then you find things to still be grateful for. I wish all the best for you in 2019!!!
ReplyDeleteLove the small trips that dotted your year. Also did I miss your Christmas in Vegas recap?
