Wedding Weekend Fun

The past few weekends have all been filled with different celebrations - bridal showers, birthday parties, travel adventures, baby showers - and this weekend was no exception.

After spending most of last week in Nashville, TN for work (more to come on that), I welcomed a relaxing Friday night at home and was sound asleep before the clock hit 10:30pm.

A good night of sleep was just what the doctor ordered to feel refreshed for our friend's wedding on Saturday night at the B Resort in Orlando. We decided to stay the night at the resort so we checked in, got dressed and headed over for the wedding ceremony.

Cameras were asked to be put away for the ceremony so I have no photos to show but it was a beautiful ballroom with crystal chandeliers. The bride and her dress were jaw-dropping stunning.

After the ceremony, they hosted a cocktail hour with a photobooth while the wedding party took their photos outside.

These are some of my beautiful neighbors.

The reception ballroom was just as beautiful and I loved how the blue uplighting eliminated the room.

The groom, originally from New Orleans, incorporated a popular wedding tradition called the Second Line, which signifies the start of a new beginning of life for the bride and groom. I've never experienced this before but it was so fun to immerse myself in the tradition waving white cocktail napkins with all the wedding guests following the bride and groom similar to a Conga Line.

After wine and dancing and champagne toasts and more dancing, we got to sleep in a bit at the hotel before heading to Hash House a Go Go for brunch on Sunday morning. Known for their amazing menu and HUGE portions, my Crab Cake Eggs Benedict didn't disappoint.

K ordered a Chicken Eggs Benedict with a Bloody Mary (or vodka salad as I like to call it with all those garnishes).

And that's how the weekend went down...
