I loved every minute of the 4-day weekend and managed to take zero photos of the Thanksgiving spread except for some desserts which my SIL's dog ended up getting into.
Thanksgiving dinner was held at my SIL's house in Sarasota. It was a small gathering with tons of food.
K and I made our traditional stop at the Lost Kangaroo Pub which is dog-friendly. Lola has been going there since she was a puppy every Thanksgiving and Christmas or whenever we're in town visiting family.
On Friday morning, K headed to Tampa for the USF vs UCF game and I stayed with my in-laws. My MIL and I went Black Friday shopping for some Christmas decorations
and had a ladies lunch date. I stayed the night with them while K
stayed in Tampa with friends after the game.
UCF got the win (38-10) even after our quarterback got seriously injured in the second quarter. (Photo sent from K at the game)
After coffee and relaxing with my in-laws on Sunday morning, Lola and I headed to Tampa to pick up K. We then stopped off for lunch at a Winery/Brewery we've been wanting to check out in Plant City.
The Keel & Curley Winery with adjoining Two Henry's Brewing Company are such hidden gems tucked away in the country.
Back to reality today after a long weekend filled with family, food, football, and Black Friday shopping.
Joining the lovely Biana sharing my Thanksgiving weekend fun.

ReplyDeleteLola knows what's good. Cute, cute, cute. Those pies look delicious. I recognize one as pecan, but what is the other one? How was the black Friday shopping? We went to Dillard's around 8:30am and I was actually amazed at how empty it was.
