The "Shuggle" is Real...

It was a weekend full of relaxing at home and lots of online shopping. The "shuggle" is referring to my struggle with shopping in general. Amazon seems to be almost a weekly thing but mainly for household items and last minute gifts.

I've actually done pretty good this year not shopping for myself in the clothes and makeup department and even avoided the Nordstrom sale which everyone was talking about in the blog world. Then this past week, Express, Ulta, and more Amazon happened along with a trip to Bealls Outlet and Marshall's.

I shared on Friday what was in my shopping cart for the Ulta haul.

After a coworker told me about this Blackhead Peel Off Charcoal Mask and all the stuff it pulled out of her face, I had to try out myself. That and an assortment of random things were ordered from Amazon. I may or may not have placed three separate orders between Friday and Sunday.

On Saturday morning all the online shopping happened and some play time outside with Lola.

A big CONGRATS to Ashley on finding out they're having twin girls! So exciting!

On Saturday night we made this French dip sandwich recipe which was amazing and so easy to make in the crockpot. The smell coming from the crockpot as it cooked was overwhelmingly good!

On Sunday I went to get an hour long facial and then a 30 minute "total body stretch" at Massage Envy, which is a new service they offer. The Streto Method is designed to relax your mind while your body is being stretched to help with flexibility, mobility, muscle tension, and overall body wellness.

I found out from my stretch therapist that I'm super flexible but that doesn't prevent tension from building up in my muscles. I learned some new stretching techniques to do at home plus I recently bought a foam roller (with instructional video) so that will help with the tension and pain in my back.
A relaxing weekend with some online shopping, good food, and pampering is perfection in my books...Hope you had a great weekend too!

  16. I'm obsessed with my foam roller - great pick up! It really does help with tight muscles. Please share the mask results - I've been looking for a good one (after hearing similar stories about everything they remove) but haven't tried one yet!

  20. Amazon is so bad for me- one click shopping, holy cow I get in to trouble hahaha. A lot of it is household products, which isn't bad and is super easy to shop which is nice. Ulta did me in this weekend too....yikes! went for one thing and $100 later hahahah
