Weekend Whereabouts

The weekend was one of pure relaxation. I slept in until 10:30 on both Saturday and Sunday mornings so you could say I feel fully rested and ready to get this week rolling.

On Friday evening we went to a Cinco de Mayo block party for happy hour and some Mexican food for dinner. That was the extent of our Cinco de Mayo celebrations and were home by 7:30 pm to relax on the couch and watch movies.

Saturday morning was a relaxing one before heading out to get some groceries and errands done. We had all intentions of going to Universal Studios in the evening but then our neighbors invited us over to hang out so we decided to stick around closer to home.

Our neighbors picked up a bushel of oysters in St Augustine (that's about 10 dozen oysters) so we had an oyster feast. The guys then watched the Kentucky Derby and the girls planned our next ladies night.

Sunday morning started off relaxing and doing all the Sunday things - blogging, laundry, cleaning, etc. - before heading to the pool in the early afternoon for some sunshine.

That's a wrap for a much-needed weekend of relaxation but also time spent with friends, enjoying good food, and lounging by the pool.
