The Weekend When I lost 24 Hours of My Life

The 3-day weekend was a nice break, albeit I was in bed sick for a good portion of it. We had our friend from Boston visiting Thursday through Saturday so the guys golfed while I was at work on Friday and then we had a fun pool day on Saturday.

I caught a case of exhaustion on Sunday which was the day we had two pool parties to attend. Maybe it was all the sun from the day before or just long work days recently but I could hardly keep my eyes open.

I barely managed to get through Episode 1 of The Crown in an attempt to brush up on my British Royalty history before our trip over the pond next month. I have no clue what hit me but I've never in my life felt that exhausted.
I felt a little more human on Monday but the exhaustion was still lingering. K and I went to the pool for a couple hours. I relaxed after and caught the second episode of the Crown.

It wasn't the fun weekend I had planned to catch up with friends but I hope all the rest/sleep I got makes this week go smoothly.

  8. Hope you're feeling better! Did you get into the Crown after feeling better or no? I'm making a list of things to watch while I'm in recovery.... so I'm accepting suggestions for sure. ;)
