And just like that we're already in the middle of December. I got the last of my shopping done for coworkers and our Secret Santa gift exchange on Wednesday and had a pretty relaxing weekend otherwise.
Friday
We put together my new bike and took it for a spin. I was joking with K that I need a basket in the back that we can put Lola in but she's wayyy to heavy for that!
Saturday
In the morning K taught me how to fly the drone in our neighborhood which I learned is a "no fly" zone. Oops!
We left the house to do some errands. I picked up those final gifts for coworkers at Kohl's and went to Ulta to get my free birthday gift ~ The IT Superhero Mascara.
We went for lunch and then stopped at a new brewery in our area called Ellipsis Brewing to sample their beers. I loved their Porter and bought a growler to go!
Their grand opening is not until January 20th but the awesome staff let me get a quick tour of the brewery in the back which they are still building out with new beers and will offer official tours in the new year.
In the evening, I watched Girls Trip which was quite entertaining and the perfect way to cap off the night with some laughs.
Sunday
I got my craft on in the morning wrapping all the gifts to take to work.
I put Andrea's amazing Stout Beef Stew recipe in the crock pot to cook for dinner and had a very relaxing day at home getting prepared for the work week ahead.

ReplyDeleteI didn’t realize that neighborhoods were no fly zones for drones! Visiting that brewery before it was opened sounds like so much fun! I swear breweries and wineries are my happy places!
