Nashville Work Trip

With all the busy weekends the past few weeks, I made sure I was feeling rested before making my way over to Nashville last week Monday for a work training conference. The days were packed starting with breakfast at 8 am, back-to-back courses throughout the day until about 5 pm, then ending with happy hours, dinner and networking.

Monday night was a Meet & Great event at The George Jones Rooftop Lounge with live music, food, cocktails, and not to mention beautiful views of the Cumberland River and Nissan Stadium.

After happy hour and some networking I walked back to my hotel and found this gem of a dive bar right next to my hotel - Bourbon Street Blues - to listen to some live music before hitting the sack.

Thankfully, since I've already experienced all the fun Broadway and Nashville's Music City has to offer, I tried stick to my usual sleep schedule with the time difference and avoided staying out late drinking with some others new to Nashville.

Day 2 was the full day of training so I needed to be rested and prepared for the information overload and grasp all the knowledge needed that was specific to my company.

At the end of the day at 5 pm, they hosted a happy hour at the Black Abbey Brewery which was conveniently located right next door for all to gather and network.

After a quick happy hour everyone headed over to the Ink Building's Rooftop with a great view of Nashville's skyline along with happy hour, photo-booth fun, and a dinner buffet.

What I loved about this training conference was that all meals, happy hours and entertainment at night were included and I got my conference ticket free for being a premium vendor of this company.

My flight was scheduled to leave around noon on Wednesday but it kept getting delayed so I took off on foot to explore downtown and made my way over to Broadway which was only a couple blocks away.

The Nashville Underground, located at the end of the strip close to the river, had amazing views of the downtown area and the Nissan Stadium during the day.

After exploring some of the quieter parts on Broadway during the day, it was time to head to the airport before rush hour traffic. Live music and a cocktail at Tootsies in Nashville's airport helps with delayed flights.

I made it home about 4 hours later than expected but it was successful work trip with lots of fun sprinkled in between.

  8. Epoxy floors in Nashville, as well as the full team were splendid and extremely complete from beginning to stop. These parents were short, thoughtful, and considerate. Nashville Stained Concrete Company, i am going to never ever have carpets and rugs another time after my lovely, very easy to keep cement floors! They’ll be really stunning.
