With the 4th of July falling on a Wednesday this year, going back to work on Thursday felt like Monday 2.0 but the saving grace was that Friday was just a day away.
4th July
The weather was a bit rainy but we made it out to celebrate the holiday with friends and enjoyed food, fireworks, and fun with my favorite twins.
Saturday
I went to visit my girl friend and her twinsies again for some pool time. When I arrived they were feeding themselves, while Mom got ready for the pool. So cute!
We took them in the pool and played for a bit before it was time for feeding and their nap time. I didn't get any pics of us playing in the pool because well, I was in the pool.
S and I hung out on the patio catching up and planning the twins' 1st birthday party.
I then met up with K at a local restaurant/bar to watch some World Cup games and grab something to eat.
Sunday
I slept like a baby and didn't get out of bed until 10 am. Of course I woke up and checked the clock every hour from 6 am but said "fuck it" and snoozed some more. It was glorious!
Lola enjoyed her outdoor pet bed while we had coffee on the patio.

Then a few hours of sunshine at the pool before having a relaxing evening at home.
Joining the lovely Biana sharing my weekend whereabouts.
Looks like a fun weekend! This World Cup stressed me out. I get too into it lol

It really was so rough having the 4th on a Wednesday, but that just meant Friday was really close! And hooray for getting to sleep in!
