NYE Recap & Friday's Favorites

Happy New Year!

This week has been weird with NYE being smack dab in the middle of the week, no work yesterday but then right back to work today. Let's just say I'm ready for the weekend already and so happy it's Friday!

We went to a NYE party at a friend's house and it was a fun night with good friends, jello shots & delish food. But after working a long & stressful day I was ready to go home after the ball dropped and spend the rest of the night with Lola.

Favorite Sites: 
I'm loving that the weather has been in the 70s with beautiful sunsets at night. It must be a record high because wearing flip flops and shorts on Christmas day is not the norm!!

Favorite Recipe
Pumpkin soup by Sarah from Coffee & Glitter (recipe found here). Im a sucker for a good soup and might even attempt to make it this weekend if I have some extra time.

Favorite Product & Shopping Finds
These are some of my favorite items I scored in 2014 -- 50% off Bath & Body Works 3-wick candles this week (I've already stocked up) --  MK purse (in grey) -- TB sunglasses for my birthday -- Versace Bright Crystal (smells amazing) -- VS lace undies -- TRESemme Keratin Smooth hair products to control frizz and tame hair -- Smashbox concealer -- Tarte foundation (both provide excellent coverage) -- comfy PJs for lounging at home.

    Looks like NYE was a hit!! My husband went to work today and it just seems silly for a day. But, gotta make that money!! haha

    Glad you had a great NYE! I agree with you about being ready to get home after the ball dropped. I was exhausted all day yesterday from being up so late the night before! That last picture of Lola is so cute! Happy Friday!

    Loved your NYE. I was just like you, after midnight I was really to go to bed since I worked all day. Ugh it's awful being back at work today, hopefully it goes by fast. I love that Versance perfume, my dad got it for me last year and I'm in love. Happy Friday!

    It sucks having to go back to work for just a day, but your NYE looked like fun. I was so ready for bed after the ball dropped at midnight (and it wasn't even our midnight!). Happy 2015!

    Oh yum, I love making big bathes of soup!! I've never made pumpkin soup, but love squash soup. We are heading to Gainesville this weekend and it's supposed to be 82... I am PUMPED for Florida weather (you can tell how spoiled I've gotten that 60 in Charleston isn't enough for me anymore haha). Looks like a great NYE party too, jello shots are my FAVORITE!

    Looks like you had a good time! I didn't stock up on Candles from B&BW when it had 50 off but they are now down to 10 a piece today so you better bet I will be now :) I cannot wait to pick some favorites up.. love that pick of sweet Lola..
