The Sunday Social: Valentine's Day

Hi everyone! I hope you had a great weekend. I'm joining Ashley and Neely today for The Sunday Social.    

1. What is the best Valentine's Day you've ever had?

When K and I spent the weekend in Ft Lauderdale. He decorated the room with roses and had a bottle of champagne waiting for us. 

2. What is the worst Valentine's Day you've ever had?

I honestly can't remember a bad Valentine's Day. I know when I was single I would always joke that it was "valium-times" day because of all the hype.

3. What did you do for Valentine's this year?

I was in Trinidad away from K on Valentine's day so we celebrated last night instead. We went to the movies to see Identity Theft and then had dinner at my favorite Spanish Tapas restaurant, where we enjoyed sangria, live music & dancing, and different dishes from Spain.

4. What is your best Valentine's idea if you're single?

A ladies night with wine and sushi would be perfect :-)

5. What is your favorite Valentine's candy?

Any kind of Chocolate... or cheesecake, if you consider that candy.

6. Favorite Valentine's memory from your childhood?

When I had my first "boyfriend" at 11 years old, he gave me a heart shaped box of chocolates and a card. It was quite cute, now looking back.

My favorites are Thai, Sushi & Caribbean food.

2. First 3 things you do in the morning

Hit snooze about 3 times, shower & then brush my teeth

3. Last 3 things you do at night

Drink a glass of water, brush my teeth & watch random shows on TV

4. 3 TV shows you NEVER miss

Intervention & whatever the hubby is watching (Shameless, Homeland, Californication etc.) I'm never in control of the remote :-/

Times Square, Mexico, and Bora Bora in Tahiti

• Jamaica - we went there this past July for my cousin's destination wedding in Negril.
• Bahamas - been on two Royal Caribbean cruises to Nassau.
• Canada - K and I went to Canada last year to visit some of my family in Toronto.
• Tobago - Being from Trinidad, Tobago is the quickest and cheapest vacation you can do.
