Life Lately: Italy Edition

Of all the places we visited while in Europe, Italy was by far my favorite. I still have so many photos and details of the trip to share but it's been a whirlwind trying to get back into real life. The past few weekends have been unproductive and lazy to say the very least so just a few things we did while exploring Italy.

Stayed/Visited
Maiori on the Amalfi Coast, Naples, and Rome

Drank
Wine like it was water

Ate
All the carbs (pasta, pizza, bread). There's no such thing as a low carb diet in Italy although I could live on their olives alone, if that was a sustainable diet.

 Bought
Mainly souvenirs and gifts

Watched
Lots of people watching

Read
The Memory by Lucy Dawson

Loved
Getting lost in Rome (purposefully)

Loathed
Getting lost, by my myself, in Naples (not purposefully)

Walked
About 15,000 to 20,000 steps per day

Wished
I could speak and understand Italian better

Toured
Amalfi was beachy and relaxing. Rome was busy and lots of walking. We visited the Roman Forum, the Colosseum, Santa Maria Maggiore Church, Vatican City, and lots more historical places.

Learned
So much history!

Tried
Real Gelato for the first time
