Easter Weekend

We had a fun-filled long weekend spending time with family and friends in Sarasota.

Friday
We made our way over to the west coast with Lola in tote to celebrate my MIL's 75th birthday. We had a nice dinner at Bonefish Grill and a fun time celebrating one of the sweetest ladies on this planet.

Saturday
The plan was to go boating with friends but the weather was overcast and quite chilly so the next best option was to explore the city. We headed to Saint Armand’s Circle with friends for some brunch at Shore. Delish sangria, soups, and sandwiches!

Afterwards we strolled through the cute shops and walked down to the beach.

Then over to downtown Sarasota to meet up with a few more friends at Cask & Ale.

Baby Cam was a trooper all day hanging out with the adults.

Someone had too much fun for one day. I needed a nap myself!

Sunday
We had breakfast in bed and a relaxing morning at the hotel. It was a not-so-typical Easter day for us.

My in-laws drove almost 3 hours to the center of the state to celebrate Easter with the extended family at their cabins. As much as we wanted to join it's just too long of a round-trip drive for us to tackle on a school night.

The weather was absolutely gorgeous so we stopped at Caddy’s Tiki Bar for lunch and some sunshine on the water. Lola loved the vibe there and didn’t want to leave.

The next stop was at local brewery that recently opened in Bradenton called Motorworks Brewing. We sampled a flight of beers and quickly found some favorites from their selection. I wish we lived closer to this brewery!

The place is huge and modern inside with a really cute outdoor deck area where you can lounge and listen to live music or play backyard sports like cornhole, put-put golf, bocce ball, and more.

Linking up with the lovely Mama-to-Be ~ Biana.

  11. Looks like you had a plentiful weekend full of fun and relaxation. The food looks delicious, as does the sangrias (my fave!). I'm so envious of all the nice weather, sunshine and minimal clothing you're wearing compared to up here in Canada. COME ON SUMMER!!! Lol

    I hope you're having a great week hun. :)
