Another great VoxBox was received from Influenster a few weeks ago filled with some new beauty goodies from Target, which I've been testing and I'm excited to share my thoughts on.
The Goods
Gillette Venus Platinum Smooth Razor * Crest Gum Detoxify Deep Clean Toothpaste
Olay Regenerist Whip Facial Moisturizer * Pantene Sheer Volume Foam Conditioner
Gillette Venus Platinum Razor
I was most excited to test out this razor. I have always used Venus razors so it was easy to compare it to the current Venus razor I use. It's definitely a more durable razor with the platinum metallic handle but that means it's also 5 times the weight.
Product Description:

- I like the fact you don't need to use shaving cream because of "360˚ Ribbon of Moisture" that
completely surrounds the blades and releases lubricants when activated by water
- My legs felt silky smooth after shaving with no irritation
- I didn't notice a huge difference in the closeness of the shave compared to the other Venus razors
- It's very stylish with the metallic handle but I prefer a lightweight razor
Crest Gum Detoxify Deep Clean Toothpaste
Product Description:

My Thoughts:
- I really like this toothpaste. It has a nice flavor and leaves your gums feeling cool and refreshed
- I usually buy toothpaste for strengthening of teeth and/or whitening but I've realized detoxifying of gums is very important too to prevent plaque and gingivitis.
Olay Regenerist Whip Facial Moisturizer
Product Description:
This Anti-aging moisturizer actively hydrates to improve elasticity and firm skin for a lifted look while diminishing fine lines and wrinkles.
My Thoughts:
- I only received 3 small sample packets but right away I love the fact that it has SPF 25
- It's a lightweight formula that's fast absorbing.
- It has a smooth and matte/shine-free finish to prime before applying makeup, which is perfect for the Florida heat.
- The fact that is actively prevents wrinkles and fine lines is a huge plus!
Pantene Sheer Volume Foam Conditioner
Product Description:
Air-light nourishment to volumize fine hair. Use in the shower after shampooing, wash out of hair completely after use.
My Thoughts:
- One thing I don't have is fine hair and therefore don't need volume. My thick hair needs products of a different variety to control frizz and too much volume.
- Nevertheless I tried it and it was great in the moisturizing department but this product is not for me.

Looks like a pretty great box. I might actually test out that toothpaste & face cream. I love Venus razors but wouldn't want a heavy one.

I need that toothpaste! And it sounds like if you had fine hair, that Pantene product would work? Because I need all the help I can get with adding volume!

ReplyDeleteI got a sample of that toothpaste from my dentist and I really like it. That Pantene would be no good for me either it sounds like.
ReplyDeleteI like that the Olay moisturizer has SPF in it, important for summer. That razor looks fun, but weird that it is so heavy! I prefer a lighter one too.
