Friday's Fave - The "Coolest" Thing in Skincare

I've never tried a tightening gel or firming treatment of any kind so Kate Somerville's Tight'N Cryogenic Tightening Gel couldn't have come at a better time as I approach my mid-30s and the fine lines have started to appear around my eyes and forehead area.

As I was in the Caribbean heat over the holidays, I didn't get dressed up much except for my God Daughter's Baptism. With moisturizer applied along with the Tightening Gel and some light makeup, you can see there's no telling of the firming treatment working it's magic underneath it all!

The texture is very unique in that it dispenses as a foam but then feels like a lightweight, cold gel when applying it to your face. I've been using this Tightening Gel for over a month now and have noticed some visible improvements in the firmness of my "trouble areas".

Application:
The Tight'N Cryogenic Gel is best applied after washing your face and applying daily moisturizer. Press actuator to dispense small amount onto fingertips and massage into skin, then let the tightening gel dry before applying makeup. The formula is cold when applied and dries instantly so it doesn't add any extra time to your skincare regimen.

What is Cryogenics?
"In physics, cryogenics is the study of the production and behavior of materials at very low temperatures." In this case, the low temperature of the formula helps to benefit the skin by tightening and firming.

Likes:
- Easy application
- Fast absorbing
- Sensitive on the skin
- Don't feel the tightening effects
- Long lasting results

Dislikes:
- The smell isn't the best
- The price is on the expensive side

  5. Yep, I definitely need this. The lines around my eyes and forehead are out of control, and my mom turned me off to Botox by being brutally honest and saying you're literally injecting poison into your face. So there's that... but LOVING that navy dress you wore to the baptism <3
