It was an action packed weekend with my parents and sister in town and I also took vacation time last week so we were on the go nonstop shopping til we drop, entertaining for Thanksgiving, and spending lots of family time together.
On Tuesday night the ladies went out to see Love Never Dies: The Phantom Returns show.
We hosted Thanksgiving dinner for family and close friends on Thursday evening. More to come on that.
My mom, sister, and I did some Black Friday shopping during the day while K went to the UCF game to watch us win. Shopping wasn't too crazy but we got some great deals at Express, Kohl's & Ulta.
And then dinner at MOOR seafood restaurant in the resort, which was excellent!
The whole family went over to International Drive on Saturday to check out the Orlando Eye, shop, and explore before dinner.
We ended up at King's Bowling Alley but no one actually bowled. K and my Dad played a couple rounds of pool while we (the ladies) relaxed our feet.
Hibachi & Sushi for dinner at one of my parents' favorite restaurants, Kobe Japanese Steakhouse, to celebrate the December birthdays while we were all together. (My sister, mom, and I are all born in December.)
We took my sister to the airport on Sunday morning and my parents leave today. It was a lovely time being all together since my sister won't be able to make it home for Christmas. Now back to work after a week of fun and family.

What a great weekend with your family-- so fun to go to the ice show, I love anything holiday themed! Your pecan pie looks delicious-- it's one thing I've been craving this year, but no one in my husband's family really eats it.

ReplyDeleteOkay... I'm going to need details on the post-Phantom show. how was it? Worth it? Should I stick to the original? Was the music good? So many questions. Other than that, I love a good staycation! You definitely did it right with your family!
