It's been a while since I shared a recipe. I usually aim for quick and easy meals that take under 30 minutes or can cook itself in the crockpot.
I made this Sweet & Sour Chicken recipe for dinner over the weekend and it falls into that under 30 minutes category with a few but healthy shortcuts. I may or may not have caught K licking his plate.
Ingredients:
2 boneless/skinless chicken breasts (cubed)
1 bag of Frozen Stir-fry veggies
4 servings of Instant Brown rice
The Sweet & Sour Simmer Sauce made for a delicious dinner with chicken and mixed veggies over brown rice. It's not too sweet or sour but has a mild mixture of both which I liked.
The sauce itself has only 60 calories per serving and sells for just $3.29 at Target, which is an excellent price point.
Since I was so impressed with how this meal turned out and the convenience of a pre-made sauce, I'm sold on trying more of the Seeds of Change packaged sauces.
I received this product complimentary from Influenster for testing purposes, all opinions are my own. #SeedOfChangeSauces

This looks so delicious! I'm all for easy and quick meals too, especially when we're in such a time crunch during the week! It's been a while since we've made stir fry, so this would be a fun option to change things up!
ReplyDeleteSounds like a perfect weeknight meal!
ReplyDeleteThese are perfect to have on hand when you don't have a lot of time or anything prepared for dinner!
ReplyDeleteI grocery shop at Target just about every week so I will have to look for these next time I am there. I make my own Kung Pao and teriyaki chicken, but I will have to try this sweet and sour. I like the idea of already having the sauce mixed, less ingredients to have to get!
ReplyDeleteThis looks delicious. Wish we had a Target in the Netherlands ..
