Friday Faves

Happy Friday lovely friends!

I'm relieved the weekend is here to relax a little but also entertain my in-laws as this is the first time they're visiting our new home. I had a late start at putting this post together so I'll keep it short and sweet just like I hope today plays out in anticipation of the weekend.

Ladies Night
Yesterday evening I met up with a good friend to catch up at a local winery I've been dying to visit.

New Reads
After spending the last few weeks reading the Fifty Shades Trilogy, I've changed the pace and just got started "audio reading" A Man Called Ove on my commute to work. Let me know your thoughts for those who have already read the book.

Pineapple Delight
I shared some adorable Poolside Pineapple inspiration on Wednesday. It's supposed to hit almost 100 degrees in Florida today so you bet I'll be spending lots of time by the pool in the upcoming weekends.

Sweet Surprises
My gorgeous friend Andrea featured my OTS Swing Dress on the Blended Blog for their Fashion Files this week and it was such a sweet surprise since I don't consider myself a fashion blogger. I have started dipping my toes in the world of fashion blogging but don't think I'm quite there yet so a big thank you to Andrea for the encouragement, especially coming from the fashion queen herself

Party Planning
I'm hosting a small get-together for a friend on Sunday to celebrate her first pregnancy. I spent most of this week planning the details since the gender is unknown...more details to come on that next week!

Have a great weekend everyone!

  1. I hope you guys have a great visit with your in-laws, it's always fun when people visit your house for the first time. I loved A Man Called Ove- it was a slower read for me, but so touching and definitely had funny moments.
