Homemade Moscow Mule Cocktails

This cocktail recipe is so simple and delicious. I made the mistake of presuming ginger beer was alcoholic so I couldn't find it in the grocery store only to find out it's not alcoholic and can be found in the same aisle as all the sodas such as Coke etc.

Serving size: 1 cocktail

Ingredients:
Ice cubes
2 oz. Vodka
6 oz. Ginger Beer
1/2 oz. lime juice
1 lime wedge (for garnish)

What To Do:
Fill cup with ice cubes and pour vodka and lime juice over ice. Then add ginger beer and stir well. Garnish with a lime wedge.

Most restaurants serve Moscow Mules in a copper mug. Either way they're delicious with a nice combination of sweet and spicy flavors. Here are some fun variations of this recipe that I found on Pinterest (titles are clickable):

The Angry Mule

The Apple Pie Moscow Mule

Strawberry Basil Moscow Mules

Moscow Mule Margarita

Blackberry Moscow Mule

  12. Moscow Mules are my FAVORITE!!!!! I refuse to drink them unless they are in copper mugs so I definitely registered for copper mugs when we got married and I love them! And, I totally made the same mistake when I bought ginger beer for the first time, so deceiving!

  19. The angry mule sounds like something my husband would love! I made the same ginger beer mistake when I was putting together a dark n stormy gift basket for my husband for Christmas...except I ended up finding alcoholic ginger beer, and he said it definitely altered the taste!

  20. Hooray for Texas vodka! I love Moscow Mules so much and always enjoy making them at home. The angry mule looks really good, and I'm sure my husband would love the apple pie mule because apple pie is his favorite dessert.

  21. Okay, first off - your his and hers cups - obsessed! I'm not a huge fan but I just emailed this link to Derek - he's made them at home a couple times and kind of did his own thing but these will all be perfect for him to try!
