Weekend Wherabouts


Hope everyone enjoyed the weekend! Mine was a nice break to feel recharged for this work week. It's unbelievable how quickly this year is flying by.  July and August are fairly low-key months so I'm enjoying the quieter weekends before more traveling in September and October.

Friday night was our usual date night. We went out to Texas Roadhouse for some BBQ dinner and then spent the rest of the night relaxing at home. We watched The Boy Next Door movie from Redbox which wasn't terrible.
 

 

On Saturday morning, I finally got around to watching 50 Shades of Grey (never even read the book) and it's not what I was expecting at all!  Anyways I'm glad I got that out of the way.


On Saturday evening we met up with some friends to watch the Orlando City Soccer game and to celebrate a friend's birthday. Someone ordered these glutenous fries smothered in bacon and caramel and surprisingly they were amazing!


Sunday was perfectly relaxing spent doing laundry, blogging, food prepping and catching up on some shows. I also organized my closet and will being doing a "shop-my-closet" sale soon with all sorts of goodies from Kate Spade, Michael Kors, BCBG, and more.

    girl i'm envious of your sunday! i got nothing accomplished but at least it was fun :) vanbarrys is always a fun/good choice for orlando city games and it's just fun to hang there! glad you had a good weekend! i'm gonna do some of that relaxing tonight for sure! xo

    I'm loving the stuff in your closet! So 50 Shades...worth it or nah? I haven't read or seen it yet. I'm so intrigued by those fries. I love all of those things, & I love salty/sweet but I'm still skeptical.

    Fries with bacon and caramel? I have never met a fry I didn't like so I am sure those are wonderful!!! I have not seen or read 50 shades and I honestly don't really have it on my list of things to do lol. I think there was too much hype around the book and movie and I just know it would let me down.     Love Texas Roadhouse! The closest one to us is about 45 minutes away so it's not one we do a lot but every once in a while we make the trek cause we're craving, lol! Love their rolls and cinnamon butter, YUM!

    I love Friday night date night! We actually did ours on Thursday because my husband wanted corn on the cob and BLTs Friday night before our movie binging. Lol. Looks like you had an awesome weekend and boy does that shop my closet sale sound fun! lots of good stuff there girl! Happy Monday!!

    Looks like you had a good weekend! Those bacon, caramel fries are something I'd definitely try. I've eaten at Texas Roadhouse once. It was in April. The food was very good. The one we have in our town is super busy all the time.
