Friday's Quick Recap & Favorites

This week has been draining. Starting off Monday at 4:30 am to head to the airport to fly back to Orlando is not my idea of fun. I'm looking forward to a relaxing weekend and some QT with my bed and of course K and Lola. Evidently it becomes harder to bounce back from all the fun and traveling as you get older.

Nevertheless, the exhaustion is well worth it because the wedding last weekend was magnificent and being able to witness my best friend getting married is a once in a lifetime opportunity.

Favorite Hair Color:
I love this mix of hair colors. I recently did a test run with one purple streak which didn't come out this nice but if I build up the courage, I would love to experiment with some burgundy in my blonde hair.


 Favorite Purchase: 
I know it's no longer the holidays and sparkles are dying down but this Sequin Cami Dress was 50% off at Express and sparkly dresses are always acceptable for weddings right?


Favorite Recipe:
This Vegetable Turkey Sausage Stir-Fry recipe from Kristin @ Miss Southern looks amazing!

    It definitely gets harder to bounce back...ugh! Hopefully you can take this weekend and fully recover! I know your standard Friday date night is in order ;) That picture of your friend is beautiful--it looks like it should be in a magazine!
    I laughed at the blood alcohol pin...so true with some people! hehe

    I Love that hair color, so gorgeous!!! I might be trying that kind of style, not necessarily the color. My hair is pretty brown right now so I don't think the burgundy will owrk. It will look FABULOUS on you though!

    I wanted to buy the same black sparkly dress from Express. It's so cute but I didn't know where I would wear it and I didn't know how it would look on me so I chickened out. That wedding dress, is to die for. I love relaxed but beautiful it is.

    From just that picture the wedding looks like a fairytale! Love the slight purple in that hair color too-- you could definitely pull it off :)

    I say go for it and get that sparkly dress! My sequined leggings just came in, and I think sparkles are always appropriate year round for nights out ;-)
