I cant believe 2014 has come to an end but it was a fabulous year for me with lots of travel, weddings, and fun with family and friends. I did a complete 2014 year review last week you can read here. I'm excited about the unknown and already planned adventures that 2015 has in store for me and I have some goals that I want to achieve in the new year.
#1: Paint master bedroom
#1: Paint master bedroom
#2: Get back on a regular gym schedule
#3: Cook healthy meals for lunch and dinner during the week and no carbs at dinner. Cheat meals allowed on the weekends.
#4: Experiment with a gluten free diet
#6: Cut back on alcohol
#7: Get more sleep during the week
#9: Take Lola to a 6-week puppy training program
#10: Plant new flowers in garden and give lawn/shrubs a good manicure
#12: Get a new Macbook computer
#13: Declutter garage and get the roof fixed (the torrential thunder storms and semi-hurriances in Florida have caused major water damage)
#14: House shopping for a new construction home
#15: Save 10-15% of my paycheck to put away in savings and put toward 2015 trips and new computer.
#6 - Cut back on alcohol :(

Love your goals! I hope you post updates on this photography class you'd like to take. What a great skill to learn more about. Are you thinking of taking one through a local community college? Or another avenue?

I'm in the same boat haha...sometimes it's easier to start with a clean slate! Nice to meet you and looking forward to our bloggers wine night!
DeleteGreat goals, lady! The saving one is super awesome and sooooo important. Too many people don't save and plan for retirement and stuff. Definitely start saving as much as you can!!
ReplyDeleteQuestion, are you gluten intolerant or just looking at the diet? I have a suggestion if you aren't intolerant.
So many great goals for 2015! I need to take a photography class too! And I definitely need to get back on a workout schedule LOL! Happy New Year girl!!

I love the idea of eliminating carbs from dinner. Such a great compromise. :) Have a happy New Year!
ReplyDeleteThose are great goals. The puppy training will really help. The Gluten Free one will make you feel great.
ReplyDeleteGreat list! I had no idea you guys were house shopping again, can't wait to see what you guys choose :)
ReplyDeleteGreat goals!! Also I am in dyer need of a vacay. Can I tag along to yalls October vacation? Hehe. HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!
ReplyDeletegood luck with your goals! i have celiacs disease so let me know if you have any questions or anything ;)
ReplyDeleteYou mean 'no processed carbs' at dinner ;) Even vegetables and fruit have carbs, and although it's best to avoid tubers and high carbs at dinner, most veggies are just fine. Be careful with Gluten Free because a lot of 'Gluten Free' products may not have wheat, but they can be loaded with sugar, sodium, or other additives that make them worse for you. Wheat and heavy carbs aren't 'bad', they just need to be eaten in moderation and when you will actually use them to fuel your body (like earlier in the day as you plan to do.)
ReplyDeleteLove your goals and I totally need to take a photography class as well... or pull out my fancy cam more! I just got a macbook pro in October ... get it!!
ReplyDeleteLooks like some excellent goals for the upcoming year. Not sure I'd be able to complete 15 of them, so hope you get through them all!
