Happy Halloween

We started celebrating Halloween a little early with a trip to Halloween Horror Nights at Universal Studios last week. Neither K nor I are one for getting spooked for fun but we got free tickets with our annual passes and wanted to make use of them before the event came to an end.

Our passes were only good for specific nights so we ventured out there after work on Wednesday night feeling pretty exhausted. It was fun, with lots of amazing Halloween decor and details along with scary "creatures" lurking around and sneaking up on you with chainsaws and such.

Out of all the nine scare houses we decided to just go through one and chose the Scarecrow: The Reaping, which we heard was one of the better houses. After the 40 minute wait in line, the house was scary indeed and I was holding on to K for my life. LOL

I was in no mood to wait in more lines so we walked around the rest of the park, caught a quick concert and called it a night.

We came, we saw, we conquered. Nice job Universal Studios!

  3. I'm not a fan of horror things either or getting spooked for fun either, so I've never been interested in going to Halloween Horror Nights. But the way you guys did it sounds like my kind of night. Go through one house, enjoy the park, and catch a concert <3

  8. I always get freaked out when it comes to haunted houses too, so you get major props from me for actually going through one! There's a theme park in Texas that we always used to go to their Fright Fest every year and it was always so much fun! We need to go back! I hope that you have a very Happy Halloween!
