The weekend was a mix of relaxing and fun over here. After work on Friday I met up with K for a quick happy hour drink and then Thai takeout for dinner.
I posted a review last week about the book #GirlBoss by Sophia Amoruso and so many of you told me about the series on Netflix so I started watching a few episodes on Friday night. The show didn't get rave reviews but I wanted to see how it compared.

On Saturday I went to my amazing hairdresser to get the locks looking good for my upcoming trip. I chopped more than 2 inches off but it was much needed. The rest of the evening was spent at home doing all the "Sunday things" since we had big plans for Sunday.
On Sunday it was time to celebrate Kate's birthday with some brunch and bubbles at a new-to-me restaurant - Cafe Murano.
I got to spend lots of play time with Baby Fashionista and catch up with Kate and everyone else that came out to celebrate. Brunch was delicious. I had crab cakes with eggs and fruit...
On Sunday night we made the Grilled Chicken Pesto Kabobs I posted about last week for dinner and had a relaxing night.
Joining the lovely Biana sharing my weekend fun.
