Weekend: Pure Relaxation


Hello friends... I hope everyone enjoyed the weekend!
Mine was, as stated above, pure relaxation which was much needed. I don't have a whole lot of fun stuff to share just the simpler things in life that make it ever so fulfilling.


~ Friday night was dedicated to catching up on Orange Is The New Black. I also watched a few more episodes on Saturday and Sunday but still not caught up yet. Let's just say I suck at binge watching anything but I'll get caught up soon hopefully. 

~ Cheap but pretty nail polish. China Glaze's "Too Yacht To Handle" is so pretty for summer.

~ Jimmy John's delivery impresses the hell out of me. Ordered lunch on Saturday and they arrived in 12 minutes. Considering they're located about six minutes away, that's awesome. Way to go JJ and the turkey beach club on whole grain bread is my fave!

~ Went to the hairdresser for some "maintenance". I just love my lady hairdresser and I'm going back again soon to add some burgundy streaks to my blonde before 4th of July weekend.

~ Loving my three new swimsuit coverups from Macy's but disappointed the Jessica Simpson black one (size small) can fit about 3 of my bodies in it. Debating whether to return it or take it to the seamstress to get it altered.

~ At least the JS wedges are comfy and Vegas approved for heavy walking. 

~ I've been on a cider kick recently. Redd's Apple Ale is delish, light, and refreshing. They also have a Strawberry Ale that's seasonal and so worth the calories.

~ Lola was the best snuggler all weekend which made it that much better.

    Sounds like you had a nice relaxing weekend! And it was much deserved since it seems like you're always on the go! :) I can't wait to see your burgundy streaks in your hair, it's going to look SO pretty! Love that China Glaze polish, it's so pretty for summer. Oh and love that pic of Lola, she is too cute!

    Your weekend of relaxation sounds like perfection! We still aren't caught up/finished with OITNB yet either. Pacing ourselves!

    look at baby lola! so cute - pets are the best when you need to relax and not go anywhere :) i totally almost bought those JS heels - are they as comfy as they look? bummer about the cover up though. anyway i'm glad you had a good weekend! you needed it girl! xo

    That sounds like the perfect weekend to me! I finished the new season of Orange is the new black and finished watching 90210 and caught some sun at the pool. Relaxing weekends are my fav!

    Visiting from B Loved Boston! I love that colour nail polish, it looks perfect for summer! I tried to get into OITNB because I thought the book was really interesting but I gave up on the show after the first six episodes, it just wasn't for me. Hope you have a great week! :)

    I love that polish shade, so fun for summer! Those wedges looks great and thats a plus if they're comfy, especially for walking in Vegas. What a cute pic of Lola, she looks like an awesome snuggler! Have a great week!

    That nail polish color is so fab for summer. Love your new shoes! Jessica Simpson has some good shoes. I wanted to binge watch OITNB but I ended up only watching the first episode of season three. Not sure I will be able to binge watch this season. Relaxing weekends are the best.

    I love Redd's Apple Ale. I didn't know there was a strawberry one! I'm going to have to hunt it down. JJ's really is freaky fast. There used to be, well it's probably still there, a JJ located where all of the bars were in my college town & you'd see some of the workers book it out of there & fly down the sidewalks on skateboards to get the deliveries out.

    Speaking of your hairdresser, do you think she can squeeze me in before the 4th of July? Mine is still out on maternity leave :-P

    I've been binging on OITNB, too. I started from the beginning. It is so good! I dont know what the heck took me so long to get on board. I also have a Jimmy Johns and my hubby is OBSESSED with it.
