Pretty Peplums

Is it Friday yet? We're not quite there but close enough so that makes me happy.

I went shopping last weekend (mainly window shopping) and it got me eying so many new styles and looks. I often don't have the patience to go to the mail and end up doing 90% of my shopping online but it was nice to get out of the house and browse, yet restrain myself from splurging on every pretty thing I saw. Peplum tops caught my eye though...
They aren't a perfect match for every lady out there but I happen to think they're flattering for my body type . I don't like skin-tight tops and sometimes loose-fitted tops can be a bit too baggy (although I do love some loose-fitted tops). Anyways, peplums can often give you that happy medium which is something that makes me feel comfortable yet dressy enough for the occasion. 
I picked up a few cute peplums at Express over the weekend which I'll have on the blog tomorrow.
What do you think about the peplum look?

    Ugh I wish it was Friday. So close yet so far! Love all of these! So glad peplum seems to be sticking around! That white and black lace one is soooo pretty!

    These are adorable! I love peplum tops at the office - they are fitted enough to look sleek yet loose enough to still be work-appropriate!

    I have been eyeing these tops lately too. At first I didn't think they would work on me, but now that I see it more, I think I might be able to pull them off. I really like the first one in the bottom row that you picked out!!

    I love peplum tops! I have yet to wear one out because every time I try one on it just doesn't work for me!

    Peplums are awesome! So flattering on a woman's body! Perfect way to camouflage a pizza or Chinese food baby, lol!

    I was scared of peplum for awhile, because I didn't think it would help my shape, but now I LOVE IT! I have two tops and am always looking for more. Thanks for feeding the obsession ;)

    I love peplum in theory, but I have yet to find one that looks good on me! But they looks super cute on a lot of girls!

    I seriously love peplum tops!! They really are so flattering. The white with black lace one from Charlotte Russe is definitely my favorite!

    I love all of your picks! I really like this look but they look ridiculous on me. It makes me sad but I have determined I just don't need any article of clothing adding flare to the widest parts of my body...
