Things I'm Looking Forward to in April

Oh hey April Fool's Day! You could have fooled me that it's already April but I'm looking forward to Spring Things and some of the simple pleasures in life this month...

Blush Weekend Style

Happy Friday and Spring season to those who get to experience the great weather that comes after Winter. We are experiencing the cool Spring temps in the early morning but it's hot like Summer by noon.

Pints n' Paws Craft Beer Festival

We've been trying to go to the Pints n' Paws Craft Beer Festival every year but we're either out of town or already have plans. This weekend we finally made it to the 8th Annual event.

5 Things Ain't Nobody Got Time For

These things are all in reference to my life even though the blog title may seem all encompassing. I have always been a pretty blunt person who never sugarcoats things/advice to my friends and loved ones. Ask my husband and close friends.

Leaving Neverland

The weekend was a lazy one. I didn't leave home once and enjoyed sleeping and relaxing in PJs for the entire time. K and I did watch the new documentary Leaving Neverland which aims to expose Michael Jackson as a manipulator and child sexual abuser.

Mardi Gras Weekend in New Orleans

I've visited New Orleans a couple times before (for a bachelorette party and then a long weekend getaway to celebrate K's birthday, which turned out to be Southern Decadence weekend so that was an unexpected amount of fun people watching).

A Church and a Brewery

Have you ever heard of a church that is also brewery? If you have then maybe I've been living under a rock because it's a new concept to me.

Party Planning with Rose Gold

The Rose Gold color theme is so pretty for any event (I used it for my NYE party mixed in with some Navy Blue for the guys). It's perfect for celebrating the ladies in your life - birthdays, bridal showers, baby showers, graduation parties, engagement parties, etc.

Sunny Weekends + Celebrations

Another fun weekend for the books. I did some self-care on Saturday morning aka a very long overdue mani and pedi. K and I then headed over to Boxi Park which just opened up in Orlando.

February Favorites

It's always a celebration around here. I salute to birthdays, baby showers, bridal showers, and everything in between. I love party planning but planning new travel adventures is definitely a favorite.

Weekending in NOLA

Sharing a quick recap and a few snaps from the weekend after a last minute trip to New Orleans.

Michael Bublé

I can't even begin to describe how much fun the ladies and I had on Saturday night. I haven't partied like that and got home at 3 am in what seems like forever.

Galentine's: Sips, Sweets and Jewels

Last weekend was a complete wash so I'm excited to go out and enjoy some fun with the ladies tomorrow night.

Recent Amazon Purchases

Cheers to a new week! Sorry I've been intermittently MIA recently. Last week was packed with work meetings, presentations, and after-work events so, needless to say, I had little energy to do much else.

Practical Valentine's Gifts

While the sentiment of flowers are a thoughtful gesture, I'd much prefer something that lasts longer than 2 weeks. It doesn't have to be expensive. It can even be a gag gift but still something useful for everyday life.

January Happenings

February crept on us quickly but I'm not complaining. Since I can't seem to blog as consistently as I'd like, I wanted to round up all things that happened in January.

Celebrations
We hosted a NYE party so technically that was the beginning of January. It was a blast ringing in 2019 with champagne, fireworks, and friends.

Florida Living - Rain or Shine

It was a dreary weekend here in Central Florida with lots of rain.

On Friday night we ordered pizza and attempted to watch Life of The Party with Melissa McCarthy however I fell dead asleep 15 minutes into the movie. This is what most Friday nights seem to look like recently.

Happy Friday!

Can you believe we're only a week away from the start of February? Selfishly, I'm almost happy January is coming to an end because it seems like I was sick for the whole month with one thing or another.

A Spontaneous Christmas in Vegas

We had zero plans to visit Las Vegas last year until the very last minute when my Aunt offered us her timeshare condo free of charge during Christmas week. So we looked at flights and the best price we could get was flying there on Christmas Day. So that happened!
