What I'm Loving Wednesday: Holiday Style

Hi everyone!

With Christmas in less than a week, I'm joining in on Jamie's What I'm Loving Wednesday focusing on my favorite time of the year!

I'm loving these outfits for the holidays:

Love these festive nails:

 And these DIY sparkly stocking:

Love these Christmas entertaining ideas:
Martha Stewart - Chirstmas Rum Punch

Tomato Tulip Appetizer
Love that I found an easy and inexpensive gift idea for my coworkers - Holiday scratch off tickets:

I'm loving that my hair is super easy to wash & style now that the hairdresser cut off about 4 inches more than I asked for :-/

Loving the red roses I got from K for my birthday last week.

I'm loving the holiday spirit that is in the air. Happy Holidays!

The Holidays are Here!

Linking up for the Weekend Update Blog Hop with Sami and Leeann after a whirlwind weekend full of holiday parties and celebrations...

On Friday we checked in to a Hawaiian hotel on Universal Orlando property to get ready for my work holiday party at Harry Potter World in Universal Studios.

The party was in Hogsmeade village in Islands of Adventure. They served us food and drinks and we had access to the Wizarding World of Harry Potter ride and a few other rides. I'm usually such a chicken when it comes to rollercoasters but after having a drink, I was ready to go ;-)

They gave every employee an iPod for Christmas and we had a great time with all my friends from work. I'm so excited to use this at the gym!

On Saturday we were exhausted after such a fun night. We checked out of the hotel and laid low until we had to get dressed for Kate @ Green Fashionista's Holiday Party. I whipped together this outfit with my sparkly shoes, which you can't really see in the picture. I also got my nails done last week for all the parties.

Kate cooked tons of yummy appetizers, desserts and christmas-y cocktails.

Roxy was also a great sport licking everyone and enjoying the company.

We did a white elephant gift exchange and I got this awesome foot bath. I've always wanted one of these and it was PERFECT timing after walking around Universal Studios on Friday night in heels!

Kate said to bring a gift of $20 of less value so I bought this Margarita set from Macy's to give for the gift exchange.

I'm so excited the holidays are finally here! Our weekends are packed with fun stuff to do for the rest of the year.

Cheers to another fantastic weekend!

Harry Potter Holiday Party

My super hectic weekend begins tomorrow so this is my last chance to do a quick post. Our work holiday party is being held at The Wizarding World of Harry Potter in Universal Studios. How sweet is that?

I'm quite embarrassed to say that I actually know very little about Harry Potter and never really got into the books or the movies sooo I might be a little out of it, but I'm sure it will still be a blast!

Dinner and drinks will be served in Hogsmeade and we'll have access to the main rides: Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey, Climb aboard Dragon Challenge, and Flight of the Hippogriff.

They've also rented us all hotel rooms on Universal property. I seriously love my company!

The party is tomorrow night and I still haven't figure out what to wear!! Here's an idea of what I've come up with so far: black sequin skirt with a blazer or sweater and booties.  Maybe something similar to this combination?
I also like these finds from Pinterest. It's crunch time!!

We are also invited to Kate's Holiday party on Saturday night which should be a great time so I'll definitely write about it later. I hope everyone has a fun and fabulous weekend!
