Charming Charleston, SC

Well it only took me a month to get this post together as we traveled to Charleston exactly a month ago in December for a quick birthday getaway.

Birthday Brunch - Never Too Late to Celebrate

December is so busy, and while the girls tried to plan a birthday brunch for me then, K and I were heading to Charleston and then the holidays rang in so everyone was booked with family functions or traveling for the Holidays.

Always Celebrate

The highlight of the weekend was celebrating JQ's birthday on Sunday and getting to catch up with friends.

Twin Pumpkins Turn 1

The weekend was relaxing and productive which is always much needed between all of our travel adventures and busy work schedules but the highlight was celebrating my favorite twinsies 1st birthday yesterday.

Adventures in Austin, Texas

Austin has been on my travel wish list for several years now and we finally made it over there for Labor Day weekend to celebrate K's birthday.

She's Such a Unicorn

It was a fairly quiet and much needed relaxing weekend. The extent of my fun was at unicorn-themed 1st birthday party on Saturday, where I played musical chairs for the first time in about 25 years. Oh to be a kid again!

The birthday girl looked adorable in your unicorn getup and was a good sport with all the attention directed her way. She happens to be my favorite neighborhood baby because she's so easygoing and cute all around.

Neighborhood Pool Bash + Birthday Brunching

Before all the kids start school this week, our neighborhood organized a community pool party with a DJ, Food Truck, and Ice Cream Truck to all get together on Saturday.

Weekending - Mid July

Rest, relaxation, some shopping and fun with friends pretty much sums up the weekend.

Long Weekend Rain and Some Shine

Since our return from the Cuba cruise on Wednesday last week, we were in need of a low key weekend to relax and get stuff done around the house. Plus with the weather forecasted to be rainy all weekend, we kept our plans at minimum.

Easter Weekend

We had a fun-filled long weekend spending time with family and friends in Sarasota.

TBB Asks: Spring/April Edition

I hope everyone enjoyed Easter and had a good weekend. I'm linking up with The Blended Blog ladies today sharing a fun Spring Q & A.

The Weekend with Sunshine & St Patrick's Day

The weather has been all over the place lately but ended up warm and sunny during the day on Saturday and Sunday. I actually woke up on Sunday morning hustling to get ready for work thinking it was Monday, then to realize it's still the weekend so I crawled right back into bed and slept until 9:30. Bliss!

Weekending: A Picture a Day

Keeping it short and sweet today since that's pretty much how the weekend was. Always too short right?

2017 Year Recap: September - December

Sharing the last part of my 2017 Adventures series.

Here's Part one and Part Two, which were both action packed with travel, celebrations, and fun with family/friends.

Birthday Blessings

We celebrated my birthday a little early last weekend brunching with friends but today, December 13th, is my birthday. K and I plan to go out for a quiet dinner tonight since it's a school night so the celebrations were best for the weekend.

Weekend Celebrations

Good morning all!

It was an eventful weekend with some pampering and lots of celebrating with friends.

Winery Weekend

It was a relaxing weekend with some fun with friends on Saturday. The weather was cool and crisp so it's definitely feeling like Fall in Florida and I'm not complaining. My parents and sister arrive on Friday so I spent a good amount of the weekend getting our house organized and stocked up with food and lots of wine!

Weekend Celebrations

Friday
I happened to be downtown for a work meeting in the morning so I treated myself to some delicious tapas for lunch at Kasa Restaurant.

August 2017 Recap

What's New With You

Current Updates

If you've been watching the news, you probably already know that Hurricane Irma is heading her way to Florida. We are as prepared as can be with food, water, and other supplies but you just never know how strong it will be.

Long Weekend Celebrations

What an action-packed weekend! Thankfully we have a short work week ahead. A friend from Boston was in town visiting over the long weekend so we definitely kept busy showing him a good time around Orlando. It's always fun playing tourist in your own city as he did the same for us when we went to visit him in Boston back in June.
