Weekend Things

The weekend didn't start off on the right foot for me. There was a fatal accident on my usual commute home which had the highway completely shut down. My GPS took me on another route which seemed like everyone else was doing. I was in bumper to bumper traffic and when finally merging on to a different highway, a speedy little car zoomed right in front and hit his brakes so I ended up slamming into the back of his car.

He was an asshole when we tried to talk about how the incident went down so I sat in my car for an hour until an officer was able to make his way over to us. With the gridlock traffic and several other small accidents in the area due to the major accident, the cops were very busy that night.

Then came Daylight Savings to mess up our schedules and make us lose some sleep.

GIVE ME ALL THE COFFEE!

The weekend wasn't all bad though. Andrea sent me this gorgeous Express blush dress NWT in the mail and it fit like a gem! I can't wait to wear it out and about. Thank you sweet Andrea!

I got to visit my friends' beautiful twins on Saturday and got all the snuggles and smiles from them. They couldn't be more opposite in their personalities and looks but are adorable in their own ways.

K and I got some errands out of the way afterwards and then had a lunch date at Marlow's Tavern.

Sunday was a gorgeous day to be outdoors. We took our bikes out for a spin and flew my drone in the back of our neighborhood which is still developing with new construction homes.

The evening was spent relaxing and heading to bed early praying to feel some normalcy today with the time change.

Happy Birthday shout out to all the March Blogger ladies!

  11. Why does it always seem like traffic is the worst on Friday’s? And I’m sorry that guy was such a jerk about everything, but hopefully the police officer put everything right. At least the rest of your weekend was fun!

  16. UGH. I'm so sorry about your car. Those drivers are THE WORST. Glad you are okay though!! DST kicked my butt this year. I don't know why it was so hard... but this one was ROUGH. I think it took 2-3 days for me to recover. Unacceptable, lol. Love that dress on you - it's perfect for spring!
