K and I don't usually buy gifts for each other on Valentine's Day. Often the money is well spent on a nice dinner date right before or after February 14th. We never venture out for dinner on actual Valentine's Day because of the mad rush and long wait lines at restaurants.
I know Valentine's day is not liked by everyone, whether you're single, dating, or married. When I was single, I used to call it "Valium Times Day" as a joke.
As I've gotten older, I think of Valentine's as a way to celebrate and express LOVE beyond. Not just to my significant other but also to acknowledge my support system and send them notes of appreciation. A cute card with some genuine words, I think that means a lot!

I thought the Wool Running Shoes were perfect for outdoor activity/running in these colder months and the Philips Norelco Shaver was a practical gift for grooming at home.
The Fire TV Stick with Alexa Voice Remote sounds perfect to get the most out of TV for Amazon Prime members/TV lovers and Johnnie Walker Black Label is a nice scotch to sip and unwind after a long work day.

ReplyDeleteWe do the exact same thing for Valentine’s Day! We just enjoy a nice dinner out either before or after as a way to just spend time together. We don’t usually buy gifts but I know that Chris would love the fire stick!
