Ladies Night: Neighborhood House Crawl

Last weekend I coordinated a Ladies night for the neighborhood gals to get together on Saturday night and enjoy cuisines from around the world.  The idea was to replicate Epcot's food and wine festival by house hopping to enjoy small plates and a drink at each house to celebrate our different ethnicities and cultures.

We had a blast on this little adventure but, I have to admit, it was way too much food to consume with 9 house stops and lots of heavy dishes, even in small quantities. Nevertheless it was a success!

I tried to capture photos of all the food and drinks but missed a few with all the chit-chat and fun we had. Here's how our ladies night house crawl progressed...

House 1: Indian Butter Chicken & White Wine

House 2: Italian Spaghetti & Meatballs

House 3: Shrimp & Grits with Spiked Pink Lemonade

House 4: Caribbean Jerk Chicken with Bahama Mama's

House 5: Panamanian Patacones & Seco Herreano

House 6: Trinidadian Chicken Pelau & Rum Punch

House 7: Mexican Casserole & Bloody Caesar’s

House 8: New Orlean's Jambalaya and Hand Grenades

House 9: Assorted Desserts & Wine

We had a blast and, to say we were stuffed by the end, would be an understatement!

It was a fun night with my neighborhood lady friends!

  7. What a fun idea and way to share all of your different cultures and socialize! I love that you have people in your neighborhood that you can hang out with like this. I hope when we move, we find awesome neighbors! Our current ones leave MUCH to be desired! I pretty much avoid them at all costs lol
