Weekly Recap & Ramble

Happy Friday lovelies! 

I took a a few days off from the blog this week. A lot was going on and I just really had nothing fun to ramble about. I also had a small case of writer's block, which I'm sure a lot of us experience from time to time. In my case, it starts to stress me out and I decided to just take a break and focus on other things this week. 

My week looked something like this:

#1: Moved into a brand new office building on Wednesday which is gorgeous. I'm not super happy that I had to downsize from an office to a cubicle but the space is modern and comfortable so I'll get accustomed to it.


#2: Started brainstorming for my new blog design. Woop woop! 

#3: Snuggled with Lola and watched TV in the evenings...while she snored. 

Here's proof:

#4: Got a mani and painted my nails this pretty pink OPI color (of course I can't remember the name now).

#5: Stuck with our healthy meal plan for dinners this week:
 ~ Chicken & shrimp kabobs
~ Baked salmon with broccoli
~ Skinny turkey fajitas
~ Chicken tossed salad

Felt like this at other times. #pms

#6: Enjoyed some red wine & blogging to top off my Thursday night.

#7: The most exciting of all is that we booked our trip to Vegas for 4th of July weekend!! I'm so stoked about this! I went for the first time last year January for a work convention and have been itching to go back. This time it won't be for work and we can do a whole lot more of the shows and fun stuff.

Any recommendations for shows while I plan our trip to Vegas?

    Yay for your trip being booked! Having a trip to look forward to is always awesome! Your new work space looks super chic--sucks about the cubicle tho, but I'm sure you'll get used to it!

    I love the new office space, but bummer about a cubicle rather than an office. That mani color is gorgeous! Woohoo Vegas, I'm going in May again and I cannot wait!!!

    I hate that I sometimes feel (ok, not skinny but smaller) and other times I don't, just blah! Exciting news about Vegas!! I've never been... but I've obviously heard amazing things. I want to go in the couple of years. Hoping one of my friends has a bachelorette there ;)

    ahhh Vegas! so exciting!! I love Vegas with all the love. And sorry that you had to downsize from an office to a cubicle, but your cubicle is super cute! I have never had an office, womp womp. I kinda dig the modern kitchen. And your meals look amazing!

    Your new office space looks so nice-- even the cubicle! All those meals look so good and healthy- especially the kabobs! I've never been to Vegas so I have no help there, but going for the 4th of July sounds like it would be so much fun!

    Sometimes you just have to take a break! Cube life blows but you will get used to it. At least it's modern.

    My company is about to move to an office and they are doing the same thing, unless you're a VP your office is getting taken away and you're going into a cube. I guess this is a new trend? Enjoy vegas on fourth of July. That'll be crazy!

    I wouldn't be thrilled about the cubicle either, but the office building is cute! And Lola is adorable as always!!!
